Members of Igbo Union engage in social and cultural activities such as "drum circles," where individuals gather to create improvised rhythm music using drums and other percussion instruments.A reflection of community unity, these circles often involve folk-dance steps and rhythms. They are prevalent in many cultures, such as the atilogwu drum circles of West Africa.These activities not only entertain and educate, they also foster a sense of unity amongst members and the community.
